Meet Squall:
Squall is a 10 year old Sharpei/Husky mix. Squall was adopted from former neighbors who had an "accident litter" (as you can see, he does not look like a purebred husky as hoped!) and were planning on taking the puppies to the shelter. The runt of the litter, Squall is 35-40 lbs with his siblings weighing in at 60lbs! Squall loves other dogs and loves playing at the dog park or just resting on the couch. He is very gentle, polite, and plays well with cats and even ferrets!

Near the end of 2022, Squall began losing weight and developing physical signs of illness. Squall went to multiple vet visits however wasn't diagnosed until June, 2023 when he began having seizures. Initially what was presumed to be a brain tumor, it was determined that Squall has masses on his liver and kidneys that need to be removed so that hopefully he can continue to have a healthy life. He will likely need to be on medication for the rest of his life, but the vet is hopeful that his upcoming surgery will give him a good shot at a long and happy life!

All 2023 proceeds up to $5,000 will go towards Squall's medical bills and treatment.
